The AJ4 is just one of those legendary silhouettes that can take inspo from literally anywhere, and the same can certainly be said about the Air Jordan 4 “Where The Wild things Are”. A homage to the 1963 picture book by American writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak, lots of of us read this piece of literature or even enjoyed the film adaptations as children, so this particular colourway has us feeling extra nostalgic.

Inspired by the monsters in the book, the Air Jordan 4 features an interesting use of materials with premium smooth leather gracing the sidewalls and toebox and a furry fabric adorning the ankle, sockliner, and tongue. earthy brown accents make their way throughout for a pop of contrast, while lively shades of blue, green, pink, and red make up the lacing system.

A sneaker that was first rumoured all the way back in April, the Where The Wild things Are x Nike Air Jordan 4 GS will only be available in kids sizes, but make sure you keep it locked at The Sole vendor in case they decide to drop adults sizing! let us know what you think of this special edition release, and while you’re here, you might as well take an in-hand look at the Air Jordan 4 “Shimmer”!
